Don't Ask Don't Tell

Anyone not know what this is? Military doesn't ask about sexual orientation upon enlistment. Though if someone does reveal that they are of the homosexual preference they are subject to lawful and immediate discharge!
Pro: Soldier morale may lower if they find out they are serving with someone who is gay and this eliminates that problem.
Con: Soldiers with a lifetime of military service may suddenly lose their career if they slip up and reveal that they are gay.

I'll post my opinion later once there are some comments up, I wouldn't want to sway the opinions of others.

  1. i don't think it matters what sexual orientation you are. you should be able to serve in whatever profession you want no matter what unless there is some physical hindrance. i'll leave more comments later
